Cordell Debuts “Bless Their Hearts” Ad Taking Aim at Career Politicians

Ad Highlights Contrast Between Career Politicians and Conservative Outsider Focused on Lowering Costs

MONROE, LA - Conservative congressional candidate Misti Cordell today launched her first television advertisement, “Bless Their Hearts,” which takes direct aim at career politicians while laying out her platform as a no-nonsense conservative outsider focused on lowering the cost of living for Louisiana families.

The 30-second spot contrasts the “same old good-old-boy politics” with Cordell’s priorities: protecting Louisiana jobs, supporting law enforcement, securing the border, improving healthcare, empowering parents, and defending faith, families, and freedom.

In the ad, Cordell delivers a pointed message:

“Same career politicians. Same promises they won’t keep. Same quest for a new title.
Bless their hearts, but I ain’t running for a title.
I’m running to lower the cost of living for Louisiana families, protect Louisiana jobs, support law enforcement and secure the border; improve healthcare, empower parents, and defend our faith, families, and freedom.
The good-old-boys had their turn. It’s time for a conservative outsider.”
“Families across the 5th District are tired of career politicians chasing titles and breaking promises,” said Cordell. “This ad cuts through the noise. Louisiana families are struggling with rising costs, unsafe borders, and government overreach. The good-old-boys have had their chance; it’s time for real leadership from a conservative outsider who will fight for results, not another rung on the political ladder.”

The advertisement begins airing this week across the 5th Congressional District as part of Cordell’s broader campaign to bring fresh, conservative leadership to Washington.

Cordell - a successful small business owner, two-time Trump Delegate, Governor Jeff Landry's Chair of the Louisiana Board of Regents, and a wife and mother - is running in the Republican primary for the open seat in Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District.
