MONROE, LA - Following Congresswoman Julia Letlow’s announcement of her candidacy for the United States Senate, longtime Republican leader and Governor Jeff Landry appointed Louisiana Board of Regents Chair Misti Cordell announced today she is running for Congress to represent Louisiana’s 5th district - from the neighborhoods of Baton Rouge to the farms and small towns of Northeast Louisiana.
